What Makes Oxygen 4 Life Unique ?

Oxygen 4 Life is one of the most advanced multidisciplinary integrative wellness facilities in Australia.

We are dedicated to investigating the root cause of illness and using the most advanced integrative methods in a safe environment. Under the supervision of Dr. Reza Samvat, we utilise the benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) to complement and enhance the healing process in both chronic and acute conditions. We also believe that adjunctive wellness therapies are critical to improving the quality of life.

Our healing-oriented wellness services are provided by our highly trained staff and practitioners. Our entire team is here to guide you in your wellness journey to help improve your quality of life. Some of the adjunctive therapies used to complement Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy includes:

HBOT Therapy

Under normal circumstances, oxygen is absorbed into circulation when we breathe and transported throughout the body only by red blood cells.  Under pressure, oxygen can be dissolved into all of the body’s fluids, the plasma, the lymphatic system, the central nervous system fluids, and the bone. This allows us to dissolve, transport and deliver many more times the normal oxygen to our tissues and cells.

QEEG/Brain Mapping

Cognition/Brain Training using state of the art technology, we employ Quantitative Electroencephalography (QEEG) to create brain maps, which illustrate the electrical activity of the brain. This is then statistically compared to a database of ‘normal’ brain activity, providing a quantitative indication of the differences in brain function from normal.

The functional brainwave patterns revealed can indicate the underlying brain physiology that may be associated with certain dysfunctional conditions, as well as the severity of the condition.

Neurotherapy is a non-invasive treatment, which teaches the brain to self-regulate, strengthening neural pathways while increasing mental endurance and flexibility. Neurotherapy is accompanied with functional brain exercises, treatments and nutritional supplementation to optimise brain health.

Functional Medicine Assessment

In functional medicine, a functional assessment involves a comprehensive evaluation of an individual’s physiological, biochemical, and lifestyle factors to identify underlying root causes of health issues. This approach considers the interconnectedness of bodily systems and aims to address imbalances rather than merely treating symptoms. Practitioners utilise specialised tests, patient history, and in-depth analysis to create personalised health plans, emphasising preventive measures and lifestyle modifications to promote overall well-being. The goal is to restore optimal function to the body and support its natural healing processes.

Functional Neurology

The practice of Functional Neurology is adopted by various modalities of practice, including chiropractic, psychology, occupational therapy and even by some conventional western medical practitioners. Its goal is to assist nervous system conditions without medication or, as an adjunct to treatment with medication. Functional neurology is more frequently practised by chiropractors.

Treatment is aimed at retraining the brain through harnessing Neural Organisation Technique (NOT).

Neuron’s require fuel and stimulation to survive and thrive, so treatment with NOT may involve specific exercises (eye exercises, cognitive exercises, balancing activities, joint adjustments). Different stimuli target specific areas and pathways in and of the brain with sound, smell, light and touch.

IV Therapy

IV drip therapy, commonly known as Vitamin IV Therapy,  is an effective way to deliver nutrients, vitamins, and medications to the body because this technique bypasses the digestive system. Supplements are administered directly into the bloodstream, making nutrients available for immediate use.

Detox Program

For the human body to flourish, it demands an impeccably operating central nervous system, robust sleep, and efficient energy production. Disruptions, whether structural, emotional, mental, energetic, or spiritual, may compromise long-term well-being through activation of the inflammatory cascade.

Leveraging decades of experience and a wealth of patient case studies, we’ve crafted a world-class regenerative program aimed at assisting individuals in reclaiming their vibrant health.

HOCATT Infrared Ozone Sauna

HOCATT stands for Hyperthermic Ozone and Carbonic Acid Transdermal Technology, a unique combination of natural technologies that come together into one unique experience to help overall wellness and vitality at a cellular level.

The patient sits inside the sauna with only their head exposed to the air for 30 minutes, while the rest of their body receives a combination of ozone, carbon dioxide, steam, photon light (infrared, pulse electromagnetic frequency, frequency specific micro -current and oxygen. HOCATT surpasses conventional saunas by 7 times.

Combing several therapies in ONE session:

(LET) Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy

Lymphatic Enhancement Therapy (LET) plays a vital role in mobilising stagnant hormones and fluids, as well as breaking up fibrocystic changes within the tissues.

The lymphatic system is vital to the body’s immune system as it absorbs toxins and waste products from interstitial tissue.

In doing so, it supports the body’s natural detoxification, elimination, and healing processes, thereby strengthening the lymphatic system, digestive system, liver, and gallbladder. As the detoxification pathways are enhanced, regular LET sessions may also have a positive impact on weight loss efforts.

LET therapy surpasses manual lymphatic therapy by incorporating light, sound, and micro-current through an electronic device with noble gas-containing glass wands. The electromagnetic pulses reach deeper body areas, breaking up congestion, rebalancing cells, and boosting immunity for enhanced cellular repair and detoxification. Pain-free, relaxing, and revitalising sessions have evolved since 1994, meeting medical standards and obtaining FDA registration.

Photobiomodulation "Red Light Therapy"

Photobiomodulation may be effective for alleviating arthritic pain, addressing various minor aches and pains, promoting muscle relaxation, and enhancing local blood circulation. It proves beneficial for managing post-workout soreness, addressing accidents and sports injuries, and mitigating backaches, arthritis, and stiffness.

Red Light Therapy (RLT) operates through the repetitive exposure of the skin to low levels of red and near-infrared light over a specified duration. The LEDs emit light energy in a manner reminiscent of how plants absorb sunlight. Red light, at lower wavelengths, does not generate heat and can penetrate the skin to a depth of several millimeters. RLT is a non-invasive, calming, and gentle treatment that initiates the body’s innate pain-relieving mechanisms. The exposure to red light is believed to induce a positive biochemical effect in cells, fortifying the mitochondria where cellular energy is produced. Elevating mitochondrial energy enhances cellular efficiency, promoting rejuvenation and repair. Consequently, this process may lead to increased blood flow, diminished inflammation, and heightened collagen production.

Intermittent Hypoxic Treatment (IHT)

Intermittent Hypoxic Treatment (IHT), known as preconditioning, which falls under the innovative and expanding domain of Adaptive Medicine.

The altitude simulator extracts oxygen from the normal air in precisely determined amounts so that each user is progressively taken from the equivalent of sea level (20.9%) to as ‘high’ as 6,600 meters where oxygen levels are as low as 9% oft-sided chambers for treatment.

IHT increases the ability of the body to metabolise, transport and utilise oxygen. Adaptation to a lower oxygen environment causes the body to produce a chain of biological reactions, extracting more oxygen from the cells.

Heart, spleen and lungs are also stimulated to increase their functions. The body then has an increased functional reserve that can offset fatigue and enhance areas of functioning in the body that require oxygen.

This approach leverages the concept that when an organism adapts to novel and demanding environmental conditions or physical stresses, it unlocks its genetic potential to withstand these challenges, thereby enhancing cellular oxygenation and energy production.
